Pressure Washer Nozzle Is Leaking

Using inappropriate tools damages the pressure washer fitting.

If there is a slit or hole in the hose it must be replaced. Take apart the pressure washer trigger gun and its wand or lance. If your power washer is leaking water directly from the pump and there is no noticeable damage such as a crack on the pump it is likely that the internal piston seals are worn or broken.

Use a 20 mm flathead screwdriver or ice pick to stick and remove the o ring from the quick connect nozzle at. The pump has pistons inside of it that create pressure to pull the water from the intake and force it out of the nozzle. If you are losing pressure on your pressure washer it might be because the water supply is restricted and more often than not this is caused by a garden hose purchased in the incorrect size.

Turn off machine but not water supply and release pressure by squeezing trigger gun. Pressure washer hoses are not able to be repaired. Either blow out the nozzle or place a small piece of wire through the tip to unclog it.
